To promote Longines fashion credentials alongside sponsoring Royal Ascot, I created a project, joining forces with young milliners from Kensington & Chelsea College, briefing students to create a bespoke hat for a friend of the brand.  With mentoring from esteemed milliner Rachel Trevor Morgan, the students have take inspiration from Longines slogan ‘Elegance is an Attitude’ along with the influencer's personal style, to create a beautiful piece for her to wear Royal Ascot.

Dressage rider Linnea Aarflot, presenter Rosie Tapner and Influencer Julia Lundin the respective subjects, wore the winning students designs to Royal Ascot, gaining press coverage on their style, and recognition for the winning milliner. The project has been featured on Tatler, Town and Country, MailOnlineAscot TV, The Express, and The Telegraph.
In 2019, all participating students had their hats featured in the Royal Ascot edition of Hello! Magazine  and World Horse Racing- coverage for the project itself and the milliners.

I joined Hunter as  part of a small in-house team during extensive redevelopment, taking them from a classic Wellington boot brand to become a major player at London Fashion Week and beyond. The features placed around the first LFW show in AW14, gave the brand real gravitas and allowed Hunter to be seen as a fashion contender as opposed to just a rainy day essential. From brand building features in the Independent and Irish Times, to Cara Deleveinge wearing hero pieces in Vogue, and a Drapers cover,

One of the biggest challenges faced at Longines, was the disconnect between consumer and press on equestrian. The most common question I was asked seemed to be' What does a watch brand have to do with horses?' I arranged for journalists to visit Kingsclere, UK and Commonstown, Ireland to see first hand the level of care and attention to detail required to train a racehorse to compete -  achieving the elegance and precision that Longines also achieved in watchmaking. Both visits were followed by a trip to Longines sponsored races where we saw the horses we met compete.

The coverage received after these trips were all full features, interviewing not only the trainers but comparing the tradition and precision in the sport to Longines timekeeping skills. The story was featured in Brummell UK, Square Mile UK, The Spectator UK, The Equestrian Online, The Horse Riders Journal Online, The Gloss Ireland, Irish Country Magazine, and Social and Personal Ireland.
